Does your full time job, family and other responsibilities make it hard to keep up on your studies for the FAA Written Exam?
Do you find it hard to stay focused... Are you someone that needs visuals & examples to learn?
Do you feel lost without someone you can turn to for questions & advice, like a mentor?
Are like most students looking for a ground school... chances are you're already thinking to yourself "Wow, there is so much I need to learn. How am I ever going to figure this all out?"
You may even be wondering if you even have what it takes to become a pilot
If this is you... You are in luck
Ultimately, if you want to be a part of the 20% of student pilots that pass their Private Pilot knowledge exam & practical checkride to become a pilot then you must be prepared for this success
The Part Time Pilot Pass the Written Online Ground School is the best pilot ground school because it will prepare you so well that we guarantee you'll pass the FAA Written or your money back. In fact we have a 99.9% pass rate when our students take the exam!
The BEST way to teach Ground School is to ensure the student has a fundamental understanding of each concept
It blows my mind that there are not only instructors out there but even flight schools that believe a student pilot should just memorize a question bank in order to pass the FAA Written exam.
This means that there are student pilots out there flying solo in aircraft that are only memorizing test questions and answers but have ZERO understanding of the aircraft or the environment they are flying in. This ought to be illegal.
Yes, you can pass the Written exam by memorizing test questions and answers by taking a bunch of practice tests. But will this make you a competent pilot? A safe pilot? Will it help you pass your checkride? NO. NO. And NO!
What is the point of memorizing test questions when you will just have to learn it all before your checkride anyways? This doubles the amount of studying that you have to do.
Why not understand the concepts behind each question the FAA asks so that you study for both your Written exam and Checkride at the same time. This way you will not only be prepared for ANY question on the Written exam, but you will be a safe and competent pilot AND be prepared for your checkride.
This is the fundamental philosophy that we use in building all our courses and lessons.
This is why a Part Time Pilot Membership includes:
Ultimately the Part Time Pilot Pass Your Written Online Ground School includes all of this exclusive content in one central and structured location so that you can:

The Online Ground School is broken up into 3 steps
These 3 steps are where Part Time Pilot stands apart from any other ground school with that personal touch to ENSURE you pass your exam:
Step #1: The best Online Ground School Lessons
This is where all our online ground school content resides. The lessons are structure in the order seen below. Each lesson was specifically selected to build upon the understanding and concept of the lesson that comes before it for an optimal learning experience. Each lesson includes a written lesson with visual diagrams, examples and mnemonic devices, a lesson quiz using FAA style questions, and most lessons are accompanied by a video and audio lesson for those visual or on-the-go learners.
Finally... We just launched our very own Part Time Pilot trained AI chat on every single lesson! Specifically designed to provide answers the FAA is looking for!
Step #2: FAA Written Exam Practice Tests
Now is the time to judge where you stand. Are you ready to pass the real Private Pilot Knowledge Test? In this step we give you three 60 question long FAA Written Practice exams that are exactly like the real thing. If you score an average of 80% or above then we think you are ready to pass the real deal (70% required for the real test). If you do not score an average of 80% you will be instructed to email us so that we can work with you one on one in the areas you are still weak. We will give you more practice questions and break each one down with you until you master your weaknesses.
Step #3: Your Custom Report & Endorsement
This is where Part Time Pilot goes one step further than most other Online Ground Schools. Most other ground schools make you take a practice test and if you have a good enough result send you on your way. This sounds great and all but we think that you deserve more. At Part Time Pilot we want to make sure that you understand these pilot concept at the FUNDAMENTAL level. This way, no matter what new questions the FAA comes up with you will have the tools to decipher the answer they are looking for rather than just memorizing a database of practice exam questions. Once you finish your first 3 practice tests we send you a customized report based off your results with review questions and a plan of action towards your endorsement. We may recommend more practice tests which we will provide or work with you one on one to solidify your understanding in a subject.
Here is the syllabus for our Online Ground School lessons. Most lessons have an accompanying video, examples and diagrams for the more visual learner and almost every lesson has a quiz:

Over 200 slides each detailing a specific concept in a simple and easy to understand diagram with labels and easy to understand explanations.
No more searching and reading for answers just to get to the bottom of a concept. This is a great tool for on the go study. Study on your phone or use the slides as flashcards to quiz yourself.
A 5 day or 5 step mini course I put together for one of the most asked about questions I get from our students... "How do I get over the feelings of overwhelm and procrastination?" It uses tried and true strategies to make you into a lean mean study machine.
One of the biggest pieces of feedback I got from my first 100 or so students was that they wish there was an audio version of my lessons. So that is when I made my Audio Ground School podcast which will be our Complete Online Ground School in audio version. Members of Part Time Pilot get early access to all the episodes I have complete before they are released to the public. This way you can learn while walking, driving, exercising, working, etc..
This was the first course I ever created and it was inspired by my own story. I made all the wrong moves when it came to my finances and flying so I made a course in hopes to educate students on the things to avoid along their way to becoming a pilot as well as other tips and tricks to saving money!
A 3-part video series exclusive to members of the online ground school. This video series is a complete and comprehensive tutorial of how to plan a cross country flight. I go through an example of a flight from KSEE to KAPV all on video, step by step with nothing left unexplained!
One of the more difficult things for me to conquer during my time as a student pilot was performing accurate cross-country calculations. With so many calculations, charts and methods it can get confusing.
That's why I go into great detail and provide many realistic examples of every calculation found in a cross-country plan.
In case the study guide, courses, diagrams and examples weren't enough. Our BONUS downloads and video vault course has recorded live lessons on every topic you can think of!
We believe the best way to prepare is to practice the real thing! This is why our course starts with a practice test to find out what you already know. Then, 3 more practice tests following your lessons to see if you are ready for the real thing. And, if you need more practice tests... we got em!
Over 2000 students have gone through our coursework and received their endorsement from us... and 99.9% of them have passed their FAA written!
